Tocatì — “tòca-a-tì”, your turn — is Verona's international festival of street games. Since 2003 it has turned the city into a free, open celebration of traditional play from around the world.

Fifteen players a side carry, bounce, kick and hand-pass the ball, scoring a point over the crossbar or a three-point goal into the net. Watch for the high catch and long, arcing kicks curling between the posts.
Played with a wooden stick (the hurley) and a small ball (the sliotar), struck along the ground or through the air at over 100 km/h. Watch for players catching a flying sliotar bare-handed and strikes sent the length of the field.

The women's version of hurling, played with the same hurley and sliotar and almost identical rules, with over a century of history. Expect the same blistering skill and speed — first-touch control, overhead strikes and pinpoint scoring.

We're building a welcoming club for everyone in and around Verona — Irish expats, Italians curious about Gaelic sport, students, families and friends. No experience needed. Come train, play, and be part of the community.
Regular training sessions and friendly matches for all abilities and ages.
Social events, a home away from home, and new friends on and off the pitch.
English and Italian speakers alike — everyone is welcome to get involved.
